They need to have a basic knowledge of business in order to promote themselves properly and stand out from the crowd. Freelancing also means learning to track expenses and the time spent on projects to ensure a stable income.
Clients come first: This is one of the hardest things to master. Creatives are typically stubborn about their work. This can cause challenges if one’s style does not match the client’s wishes. Still, artists should remember that the client’s needs come first and that graphic design should be approached with professionalism and creative discipline.
